Two series.
One mission.
We tell the stories behind Africa's most important companies — and the cities its people call home.
01
Asili Africa
Where it all began.
Documentary-style origin stories of African companies. Each episode traces a company from founding to present — the crises, the pivots, the people who built something from nothing. Available as podcast (Spotify, YouTube) and on syntheticafrica.com.
02
Living in Africa
How people really live.
Long-form city documentaries. How people really live in Africa’s cities — where each city came from, what life costs, how people get around, who runs it and what makes it home. Video format, one city per episode.
